Adjusting the sound

You can adjust the sound characteristics to your
preference.

Select the item you want to adjust.
Each time you press the button,
the adjustable items change as
follows:
FADER*
BAL
(Fader)
(Balance)
VOLUME
VOL ADJ****
(Volume Adjustment)
Indication
To do:
FADER*
Adjust the front
and rear speaker
balance.
BAL
Adjust the left
and right speaker
balance.
EX BASS**
Turn on or off the
Extended Bass.
WOOFER***
Adjust the
subwoofer output
level.
VOL ADJ**** See
"To adjust
the input level of
each source" on
the right column.
VOLUME
Adjust the volume.

If you are using a two-speaker system, set the
fader level to "00."

The richness and fullness of the bass sound is
clearly maintained regardless of how low you set
the volume – Extended Bass.
*** This takes effect only when a subwoofer is
connected.
**** Not adjustable when the source is FM.
"FIX" will appear.

Normally, the control dial works as the volume
EX BASS**
control. So you do not have to select "VOLUME" to
(Extended Bass)
adjust the volume level.

You can adjust the input level of each source
except FM, and store it in memory.
R06 (Rear only)
By adjusting the input level properly to match it
