Weighing idler alignment
Precise idler alignment is very important to achieve maximum accuracy of the weighing system.
Misaligned idlers will result in unwanted forces being applied on each idler in the weighing area,
causing calibration and measurement errors. Verify that the weighing idler is aligned properly.
Use a spirit level to level the load cells.

Quick start up overview

1. Verify that the weighfeeder is installed properly as described in Mechanical installation
(Page 13). Verify that the belt is tracking and the shear gate (if used) is properly set.
2. Verify that the weighfeeder, integrator/controller, and variable speed drive (AC or DC, if
present) are all properly wired.
3. Refer to the supplied integrator/controller information for calibration and configuration
information.

Belt direction
Alignment string/wire. Run string to
ensure idler alignment on both sides
to +1/32".
Secure bolts with idlers aligned and load cells
level. Align both sides and secure load cells in
unison.
Use spirit level to level load cell, on each side.
