Editing

The follow ing procedure allow s to record a CD w ithin the
specified tape length so that no music is interrupted in the
20
middle at the ends of sides A and B.
Normal EDIT: Edit from one disc.
M ULTI EDIT: Edit and record from several discs.
Preparation

Normal EDIT

Light the "EDIT" indicator.

Select the disc.

Enter the recording time of the tape.

÷ Load a disc in the CD player.
÷ Check that the unit is in the normal play
TRACK mode.
Do this operation in the stop mode.
EDIT
Go to step 2 w ithin 8 seconds.
If more than 8 seconds have elapsed,
press the key again.

DISC 4
Go to step 3 w ithin 8 seconds.
When using the numeric keys:

÷ The interval length can be adjusted w ith the skip keys 4 and ¢ in
units of one minute (to a maximum of 99 minutes).
÷ If you commit a mistake in time entry, press the P.M ODE key and
restart the procedure from the beginning.
CD-206/ DPF-R6010
÷ By pressing the TIM E DISPLAY key the set time-length intervals w ill
change in this order:
CD-204/ 203/ DPF-R4010/ R3010
÷ By pressing the TIM E DISPLAY key the set time-length intervals w ill
change in this order:
÷ Automatic editing is executed for side A and side B,
CD-2 0 6 / 2 0 4 / 2 0 3 / DPF-R6 0 1 0 / R4 0 1 0 / R3 0 1 0 (En)
