NOTES:
1) Only one master boiler should be used p
lack of a master boiler.
2) In a cascade system, if two adjacent boilers are to be selected with different maximum capacities,
these capacities can only be selected for adjacent boilers with following orders of magnitude.
3) The cascade module is needed to be mounted for only the master boiler in a cascade system
because, the slave boilers are shipped with cascade modules mounted.
4)
boiler pump, direct circuit pump and boiler pump. It can be modified.
5) The pumps which are not high energy class should always be conected via a contactor to the QX1 of
the line terminal or to the pump relay outputs of the extension module.
6) The high energy class pumps with PWM signal control should be connected to the AUX2 230V AC
output of the line terminal and to the PWM connection of the signal terminal.
7) Every single boiler can only be used to control one boiler pump. In case of cascade operation, a
maximum of the cascade boiler quantity is the number of the maximum controllable boiler pump.
8) There should be a minimum number of extension modules used as the quantity of the mixing
9) A single extension module can only control the 3-way mixing valve, the circulating pump and the
sensor of a mixing circuit. There is also an extra sensor output. Three additional pumps can be
controlled and also 2 additional sensors can be connected unless a mixing circuit control will not be
made.
10) Maximum of 3 extension modules can be connected per each boiler mainboard (LMS 14). Whether
used additional extension modules on the boiler, a maximum of 3 heating circuits (direct and/or
mixing circuits) can be controlled.
11) A hydraulic header or a plate heat exchanger must be used as an interface and seperator between
the primary and secondary circuits independent of the quantity of the boilers used in the system.
12) Independent of the boiler quantity, a single outside temperature sensor have to be used per each
system.
13) The wet bulb type is used on the DHW tank and hydraulic header.
14) The strap-on sensor is used on the outlet of the mixing circuit and the plate heat exchanger
(between the primary and secondary circuits).
15) The DHW tank to be used with a solar collector should consist of 2 seperate coils inside. In this case,
two DHW sensors must be used.
