The PO WER button

This is a s el f-lock switch us e to turn on or o ff the power o f the Meter .

The BLUE button

It uses for s electing the requir ed measur ement function when the re is m or e than one function at one position of the
rotary switch .
The Use of Re lative Value Mode
The RE L mode applies to all measur ement functions e xcept in f requency/duty cy cle measure ment , it subtracts a stored
value fro m the pr esent value and displays the relative value (∆ ) as the r esult.
The definition is as follows:
Relative value (∆ ) = p resent value – stor ed v alue .

For instan ce , i f th e stored valu e is è 20.0V and the pres ent value is 22.0V, the reading would be 2.0 V. I f a n ew
me asure ment value is equal to the stored value th en display 0.0 V.
To ente r or e xit RE L mod e:
Use rota ry switch to select the measur e ment f un ction be fo re s electing RE L ∆ . If measu re ment functions ch ange

manu ally aft er RE L ∆ is select ed, the M eter e xits the REL mode.
Press REL ∆ to enter REL mode , autoranging turns off exc ept under cap acitan ce testing mode , and the present
l
me asure ment r ange is locked ad display the last measure ment v alue as " 0" as the stored value.
Press R EL ∆ again o r turn the rotary switch to r eset the stored valu e and exit REL mode .

P ressing HO L D H in REL mode makes the Meter stop updating. P ressing H OL D H again to resu me upd ating.
O pe ration of Hold Mode
Warning – To a voi d possibility of ele ctri c shock , do not use Hol d mode to de te rmin e if circ uits are
wit hout power. The Hold mo de will no t ca ptur e uns table or nois y readings .
The Hold m od e is applicabl e to all measu re ment function.
Press H O LD H to enter Hold mode; the Meter be eps.

Press H O LD H again or turn th e rot ary switch to exit Hold mode; the Meter be eps.
