Rating Level

Some DVDs are encoded with restriction of playback for
scenes unsuitable for children. The level of restriction (rating
level) differs depending on the contents of discs. On this item,
you can set the rating level to the desired level. When you play
back a DVD encoded with the rating level, only the picture
which conforms to the level set on this item is played back.
The level you set on this item is locked and unchangeable
without entering the password you designate. This is for
preventing the level from being changed by someone other
than you.
