Confirming the location of the local node and the partner station

When the signal from the connected local node contains GPS location data, the
information can be displayed on the screen.
1. Press the [DISP] key on WIRES-X screen.
If the signal of the partner station operating in C4FM digital DN (V/D) mode includes
GPS position information, the distance and direction of the received station from your
own station are displayed.
Callsign of other station
HUP: Heading up
NUP: North UP
: Display of other station
: Display of your station
Distance to other station
2. Press the [DISP] key again to return to normal operation.
When "NUMERIC" is selected from [DISPLAY]  [1 TARGET LOCATION] in the setting
mode, the latitude & longitude screen appears instead of the compass screen.

Operate the B band

While on the WIRES-X screen, press the [A/B] key to the operating band becomes the B
band. Frequency change and normal communications are possible in the B band. Press
the [A/B] key again to return to the WIRES-X connection screen where you can operate
and communicate with WIRES-X.
