    3. Firmly hold the suction cup against the windshield 4. Push the locking lever. The 7700 PRO comes with a rubber bumper to protect your dash. If you let the unit rest on the dash, stick the rubber bumper onto the bottom of your unit.

    24) Configuration Security Code The Configuration Security Code controls access to the configuration menu. You cannot access the configuration menu unless the proper 4-digit code is entered. The Configuration Security protects your personal information (address book) from unauthorized access should your unit be lost or stolen. It is possible to reset the Configuration Security Code by performing a Master Reset.

Your unit will be slow to acquire satellites until it has an opportunity to store satellite data. To let it store satellite data, simply let it run for at least 15 minutes AFTER it has locked onto satellites.

    41) SD Card Slot There is an SD (Secure Digital) card slot on the left-hand side of the nav unit. The only function of this card slot is for loading updates. If you do not have access to a computer, then an update can be supplied on an SD card.
