Introduction
There are numerous signal modules for the S7-400 automation system. You can
therefore select the most suitable and economic solution for your application.
Digital and Analog Modules
Digital and analog modules are collectively referred to as "signal modules" (SM).
The 'SM' abbreviation that is printed on these modules stands for the international
designation, "signal module".
