CONFIGURING THE KEGS5000 FOR STANDALONE OR SLAVE USE
The KEGS5000 has two versions of firmware loaded. Stand Alone and Slave
Standalone Firmware is the default operating mode and is intended for the direct control of
KD6 domes and Ultrak multiplexes
Slave firmware is intended to operate in two different modes.
Mode1: KSX3208L matrix and MXSYS04E controller mode.
Mode2 : Maxpro MAX1000 control (Slave firmware version 2.02.36 or later)
Note: Earlier versions of the slave firmware do not support Maxpro Mode. Should this mode be
required download the firmware and instructions from the Ultrak website

Checking To determine which version of firmware the KEGS5000 is running cycle the power and check
the version
of firmware
