Securing the battery.
It is very important to secure your battery to the boat's deck while operating
or risk losing your battery in rough water or in a capsizing event.
K2 Lithium Batteries are sealed, waterproof, and come with a buoyant carry
case which can be easily secured using bungees.
Conventional lead acid batteries are heavy and should be situated on the boat
to ensure the boat remains trim. Always tie down lead acid batteries securely.
Lead batteries may leak and be damaged or cause adverse environmental
impact when submerged and cause injuries if unsecured and shifting.
