SET,.UP ADJUSTMENTS
• The foJlowing adjustments should be made when
a complete realignment is required or a new pic-
ture tube is installed.
• These adjustments should be performed with rated
power supply voltage unless otherwise noted.
Controls and switches should be set as follows unless
otherwise noted:
PICTURE control .. maximum
BRIGHT control ...... maximum
Perform the adjustments in order as follows:
I. Beam Landing
2. Focus
3. Convergence
4. White Balance
Note: Test Equipment Required.
I. Color-bar/Pattern Generator

3-1. BEAM LANDING
_Preparation:
• Feed in the white pattern.
• Before starting, degauss the entire screen.
I. Loosen deflection yoke screw.
2. Adjust purity control as shown in Fig. I.

3. Slide deflection yoke as far forward as it will go.
4. Position neck protector ass'y as shown in Fig. 2.

5. Disconnect leads

6. Adjust purity control to center vertical red
band as shown in Fig. 3.
