8. Loosen the exhaust pipe clamp. Then
remove the exhaust pipe. Loosen the
muffler's mounting bolts if necessary.
9. Push in the belt adjuster and pry off the
pump belt.
10. Remove the belt guide for the engine
belt pulley. On machines with a skid
guard the skid guard must be removed.
