Type plate
The PPU type plate is located on the rear. All the information required to clearly identify the PPU
is available on the type plate.

The contents of the individual type plate fields on the current control may differ from those
described in this manual, e.g. updated product status, approvals and identifications not yet
issued.

MAC addresses
The MAC addresses printed on the type plate of the PPU are required for configuring the PLC
I/O Interface communications networks based on PROFINET and Industrial Ethernet. There is
a similar situation for the machine control panels and the I/O modules.
