4.5 Special case: KNX presence detectors
KNX presence detectors can only be parameterised using the ETS (Engi-
neering Tool Software). In the case of remotely controllable KNX presence
detectors, QuickSet plus has the following functions:
● Test, Reset
● Selecting the programming mode. The LED on the front side indicates
when the detector is in programming mode.
● As a tool for determining the brightness value; parameterisation is
carried out by means of ETS, the KNX commissioning software. This is
explained in the presence detector operating instructions.
● Checking to find out whether a detector is a master.
A master responds by flashing its LED.
● Checking to find out whether a detector is a slave.
A slave responds by flashing its LED.
