WARNING

Pressure Relief Procedure on page 7.
PROBLEM
Motor will not cycle
Continuous air exhaust
from pilot valve vent
holes.
Air motor not shifting
properly; erratic opera-
tion/stalling.
Continuous air exhaust
from muffler.
Air leaking from base vent
hole.

Troubleshooting
CAUSE
Insufficient air supply to director valve.
Worn or damaged actuator valve pin
o-rings (22, top or bottom).
Improper installation of carriage spool
u-cups (31).
Worn or damaged actuator valve pin o-rings
(22, top or bottom).
Worn or damaged director valve cup (6).
Worn
or
damaged
carriage
u-cups (31).
Clogged or obstructed valve porting.
Clogged vent holes in the valve housing (4). Inspect and replace or clean. See page 13.
Air cup (6) not seating properly, or damaged. Inspect; reseat or replace. See page 13.
Worn or damaged motor piston o-ring (32).
Worn or damaged low pressure u-cup seal
(18).
Before servicing this equipment, always make sure to
relieve the pressure.
NOTE: Check all possible problems and solutions
before disassembling the air motor.
SOLUTION
Turn off air supply to motor, then on again.
