Composition

Usually, scenes should begin with a wide shot to establish the setting. Then, cut in to a medium shot,

then to close-ups for details.

Be aware of backgrounds; look for trees "growing" out of the subject's head when positioning them.

Give your subject extra space in front of their face (Lead Room).

Place the center of interest near one of the

four cross-points for a stronger composition.
