OPERATION SEASONING The metal surface of the griddle has microscopic pores. It is important to fill the pores with oil to provide a hard, non-stick cooking surface. 1. Turn GRIDDLE TEMPERATURE CONTROL (G.01) clockwise to 375ºF. Allow the griddle to heat until the GRIDDLE HEAT ON INDICATOR (G.02) goes OFF, showing that the griddle is up to the set temperature.
