ADJUSTING THE ROTATION SPEED

The speed of the machine is variable to suit different tasks. It can be adjusted from
650/min up to 1600/min by using the thumb wheel. turn in the counterclockwise
direction to increase the speed and in the clockwise direction to decrease the speed.
Generally, you should use the higher speed for fast stock removal and the lower speed
for more precise control.
Note: We recommend the rotation thumb wheel be set to high speed during
operation for sufficient airflow to the motor.
POSITIONING THE SANDING HEAD
There are two positions for the Sanding Head:
Position A: For sanding ceilings only.
Position B: For sanding walls and also for storage.
The position for ceilings (position A in the diagram) has the pivot fixed out at
the very end of the fork. The position for sanding walls and for storage (position B in
the diagram), has the pivot fixed at the middle position of the fork. To adjust, simply
pull the 2 spring loaded catches outwards, slide the pivot to the new position and
allow the catches to snap into place.
THE HEAD POSITION B IS FOR SANDING WALLS & ALSO FOR STORAGE;
CHANGE THE HEAD SETTING TO POSITION A FOR CEILINGS ONLY.
Using or storing in the incorrect setting, will cause damage to the Drive Shaft & therefore void warranty.
HOW TO USE THE TOOL
Effective control of this powerful saw requires two-handed operation for maximum safety and control.
The proper hold is to keep one hand on the main handle and the other hand on the sponge grip on the
column. It is vitally important to keep stable footing at all times, especially when standing on scaffolding
or stilts.

SANDING OPERATIONS

1. Once the machine and vacuum cleaner are set up and all safety measures and equipment are in
place, begin by turning on the vacuum cleaner and then the machine. (If you are using a vacuum
cleaner with integrated switching, then simply turn the machine on).
