spark present?

Is a spark weak

Disconnect stop
wire from ignition
module and re-
test.

Is a strong blue
spark present?
YES
Repair damaged
stop wire or stop
switch.
Perform visual inspection of unit.
Inspect spark plug wire, boot connections.
Repair/replace any problem items.
Install new, properly gapped, manufacturer specified spark plug.
Stop switch must be in run position.
Perform Spark Test (See separate instructions).
Remove spark

Remove ignition
module mount-
ing bolts, clean
connections, set
air gap and re-

Replace the igni-

Inspect flywheel key and key
way for sheared key.
