1. PURPOSE

The purpose of this guide is to familiarize the Synod users with the functioning of the Jabra
headsets. These headsets are compatible with the Zoom softphone app where most of the call
controls will be handled.

2. KEY COMPONENTS AND CONNECTIVITY

The Jabra headsets come with a charging base, Bluetooth adaptor, charging cable and a storage
pouch.
Jabra Link 370 is the Bluetooth adaptor. A Bluetooth adapter is a plug-and-play device that plugs
into a USB port on a computer and enables a Bluetooth connection between the computer and a
Jabra headset.
Charging

Use the charging stand
Plug the charging stand into a powered USB port on your PC, docking station or wall
charger, and then dock the headset. It takes approx. 3 hours to fully charge the headset.
When the PC is turned off, the headset will continue to charge only when the charging
stand is plugged into a powered USB port.

Using the charging cable
Plug the supplied USB charging cable into a USB port on your PC, docking station, or wall
charger. It takes approx. 3 hours to fully charge the headset.
