Handlebar side adjustment steps:
• Slide back the rubber cover.
• Loosen the locknut 1.
• Turn the adjusting nut 2 in direction a or b
until the specified free play is obtained.

• Tighten the lock nut.
• Slide back the rubber cover to its original
position.
NOTE:
After adjusting the free play, turn the handlebar to
right and left, and make sure that the engine idling
does not run faster.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

WARNING
Battery – electrolyte is poisonous and danger-
ous, causes severe burns, etc. Contains sulfu-
ric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or
clothing.
Antidote: EXTERNAL – Flush with water.
INTERNAL – Drink large quantities of water or
milk. Follow with milk of magnesia, beaten egg
or vegetable oil. Call a physician immediately.
Eyes: Flush with water for 15 minutes and get
prompt medical attention.
Batteries produce
sparks, flames, cigarettes, etc. away. Ventilate
when charging or using in enclosed space.
Always shield eyes when working near batter-
ies.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
CAUTION:
• Always keep the battery charged. Storing a
discharged battery can cause permanent bat-
tery damage.
• To charge a sealed-type (MF) battery, a spe-
cial (constant-voltage) battery charger is
required. Using
charger will damage the battery.
