DANGER!
The calibration noise generated
during the calibration may be perceived as
loud and uncomfortable and irritate you in
traffi c.
Never start the calibration while driving.
u Press the MENU button A.
u Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.
u Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.
u Press the "DNC" softkey 8.
u Press the "Adjust" softkey 6.
The display shows "PLACE MICRO" and a
counter counts down from "5" to "0".
After the countdown expires, the cali-
bration is performed. The display shows
"Adjusting" and, after a successful comple-
tion of the calibration, "Adjustment OK".
After the calibration is completed, the DNC
menu is displayed again. After the fi rst cali-
bration the "Level" setting option 7 ap-
pears in the menu.
Switching DNC off / Selecting
DNC increase
You can adjust the DNC increase, i.e. the
sensitivity of the increase in volume and
sound, in fi ve increments.
"Level 1" is suitable for vehicles with loud
engines and bass-loaded music. "Level 5"
is suitable for vehicles with softer engines
and classical music. You will need to test
various settings to fi nd the most suitable
one for your taste.

Note
This setting option is available only af-
ter the fi rst DNC calibration.
u Press the MENU button A.
u Press the softkey "Audio Settings" 6.
u Press the "DSA" softkey 9.
The display shows the DSA menu.
u Press the "DNC" softkey 8.
u Press the "Level" softkey 7 repeated-
ly until the desired setting "Level OFF"
(DNC off) or "Level 1" to "Level 5" (in-
crease) is displayed.
When you have fi nished making your
changes,
u press the OK button B repeatedly un-
til you reach the desired menu level for
additional settings or completely exit
the menu.
