Symptom

Possible Causes
Power is turned off
No electrical power to spa
The 20 or 30A fuse, depending on
the system, has blown
Spa is trying to heat up
Spa is in fi lter cycle
Spa is in Standard mode
An error may have has occurred
Improper wiring to spa or GFCI
breaker is defective
There is a defective component on
the spa
Heating mode not selected
Water level is too low
No electrical power to spa
Heater is defective
Gate valve is partially or fully closed
Thermostat has been turned down
Insuffi cient fi ltration time
Water level is too low
No electrical power to spa
Dirty fi lter cartridge
Gate valves closed
Spa cover improperly positioned
Filtration time is set too long

Possible Solutions
Reset spa
Turn on or reset the GFCI circuit breaker.
If this does not solve the problem, have
a qualifi ed electrician check the electrical
service.

Check the temperature setting is in
Standard mode
Normal. No adjustment necessary
Check setting

Consult with a qualifi ed electrician

Add water to correct level
Turn on or reset the GFCI circuit breaker.
If this does not solve the problem, have
a qualifi ed electrician check the electrical
service.

Open gate valves. Note: Never operate
your spa with the gate valves closed!
Set control panel to a higher temperature
Increase fi ltration time
Add water to correct level
Turn on or reset the GFCI circuit breaker.
If this does not solve the problem, have
a qualifi ed electrician check the electrical
service.
Clean fi lter cartridge
Open gate valves
Align spa cover
Reduce fi ltration cycles, especially during
summer months
