• The battery for the absolute position is not required when constructing an absolute position detection system.

Precautions
• This linear encoder is a four-wire type. To use this linear encoder, change the servo parameter to select the four-wire type.

• When using four-wire type linear encoders in a fully closed loop system or for the scale measurement function, use the MR-
J5-_-RJ_.
