MOUNTING SUBBASE:
To remove Sensor from subbase (Fig. 1), push the Sensor
upwards from the subbase 1 and lift free when unplugged.
The subbase mounts directly onto the wall with the screws
and anchors included in the package. Use the subbase as
a template, and with a pencil, mark two mounting screw
locations (Fig. 2). If drywall construction, plastic anchors
must be used; use 3/16 " bit to drill holes for anchors. Gently
tap anchors into holes until they are flush to the wall
surface. Thread wires through the center opening of the
subbase. Then, mount the subbase using two screws pro-
vided. Gently tighten screws, level top surface of subbase,
then securely tighten screws.
WIRING:
1. All wiring must comply with local electrical codes and
ordinances. Minimum wire gauge is #18 AWG wire.
2. Connect the control wiring to the appropriate terminal
in the connectors provided on the subbase. See electrical
diagram on pages 3 & 4 (Figures 3 & 4).
3. Be sure to provide adequate clearances in subbase for
Sensor mounting when wiring to terminal block. Excess
wire may obstruct Sensor mounting to subbase.

4. Push excess wire back into the hole, and plug hole with
non-hardening caulk, putty, or insulation to prevent
drafts inside the wall from affecting Sensor operation.
5. Make sure that the temperature sensing thermistor is
not touching any part of the Sensor case before replacing
the Sensor on the subbase.
6. Ground unused conductors to ground post on system
controller base only.
CHECKOUT:
Restore power to the system. The system may be operated
by the Sensor by setting mode and set-point for desired
operation (see Sensor Manual). If the Sensor is communi-
cating with the system controller, the green light in the
lower right corner of the unit will flash each time the
Sensor responds to the system controller.
SETUP AND CALIBRATION:
Refer to the Home Owner's Manual for setup and calibra-
tion of the Sensor.
