Selecting the Call tone

Press once. Turn the
MENU
Rotary Channel Selector to either
or . Press and hold for 3

seconds to store the new setting.
If a button is not pressed
within 10 seconds the
uh089sx will
automatically exit the
Menu Mode.

Roger Beep

A Roger Beep may be added to
the end of transmission.
Press twice. Turn the

Channel Selector to display
Press and hold for 3

seconds to store the new setting.
If a button is not pressed
within 10 seconds the
uh089sx will
automatically exit the
Menu Mode.

Busy Channel Lockout

If the channel is already in use,
you can prevent the uh089sx from
transmitting . This is particularly
important when using CTCSS.
Press 3 times. Turn the
MENU
Rotary Channel Selector
to display .
Press and hold for 3
MENU
seconds to store the new setting.
If a button is not
pressed within 10
seconds the uh089sx
will automatically exit
the Menu Mode.
