UNIDEN Model uh049sx UHF CB Radio GETTING STARTED BATTERY INSTALLATION Your uh049sx pack includes 3 AA rechargeable NiMH batteries to power the unit. You must install and then charge the batteries for 15 hrs before use. The uh049sx can also use 3 AA Alkaline batteries. -

UHF CB Repeaters are used to retransmit or relay your signal. Repeaters will extend the range of your radio and overcome the shielding effect caused by solid obstructions. -

UNIDEN Model uh049sx UHF CB Radio OPERATION Drop-out Delay While scanning, the uh049sx stops at a busy channel and receives a signal. When the received signal is over, the unit will wait for 3 seconds for the return of the signal, otherwise, the radio resumes scanning. -
