Practical information
F Take the charging cable stored in the bag
supplied for this purpose. This cable is
equipped with a control unit.
F Connect the charging cable to a compatible
electrical socket that meets the required
standards. On connection, the 3 control
unit indicator lamps for POWER, FAULT
and CHARGING come on simultaneously
for a moment, then only the green POWER
indicator lamp stays on.
If the exterior temperature is below -25°C,
charging may not be possible.
Do not use an electrical
extension lead, multi-socket,
adapter or timer.
Use the cord supplied to hook the control
unit, so that it does not weigh down on
the power point (risk of damage to the
charging cable or power point).

F Press the latch 2 to open the socket cover.
F Ensure that there is no foreign body on the
vehicle socket.
F Remove the protective cover from the
charging cable.
F Insert the charging plug into the socket
without pressing the button, until it clicks
into place.

Do not touch the metal adaptor of the
normal charging socket, or that of the
charging cable (risk of electrocution and/
or malfunction).
Never connect or disconnect the cable
or charging plug with wet hands (risk of
electrocution).
F Check that the charging
warning lamp in the
instrument panel and the
green CHARGING indicator
lamp in the control unit are on
fixed (not flashing).
If this is not the case, charging has not
started; repeat the procedure ensuring that all
connections are correct.
The main battery state of charge indicator
is displayed in the instrument panel and the
number of bars lit progresses as the battery is
charged.
The start of charging may be
accompanied by the sound of pulsed air.
This noise is completely normal.
The charge may be interrupted at any time
by withdrawing the charging plug from the
vehicle socket.
