5 Maintenance

5.1 Failures Not Caused by Faults of the AC

If your air-conditioning u nit s uffers f rom ab normal operation or f ailure, p lease
first check the following points before repair:
Failure
The unit cannot be started.
The unit operates for a while
and then stops.
Poor cooling effect.
NOTICE: Check t he ab ove i tems and ado pt t he corresponding corrective
measures. If the air conditioner continues to function poorly, please stop the air
conditioner immediately and contact C&H's authorized local service center. Ask
our professional service staff to check and repair the unit.

5.2 Error Code

(1) If abnormal things (for example, awful smell) occur, please stop the unit
immediately and d isconnect power. T hen c ontact C&H's authorized s ervice
center. If the unit continues to run in abnormal situations, it may get damaged
and cause electric shock or fire hazard.
(2) Do not repair the air conditioner by yourself. Improper maintenance will cause
electric shock or fire hazard. Please contact C&H's authorized service center
and send for professional service staff to repair.
Possible Reasons
① The power supply is not connected.
② Electrical l eakage of ai r-conditioning u nit
causes tripping of the leakage switch.
③ The operating keys are locked.
④ The control loop has failure.
① There is obstacle in front of the condenser.
② The control loop is abnormal.
① The air filter is dirty or blocked.
② There i s he at s ource or t oo m any people
inside the room.
③ The door or window is open.
④ There is obstacle at the air intake or outlet.
⑤ The set temperature is too high.
⑥ There is refrigerant leakage.
⑦ The performance of room temperature sensor
becomes worse.
