At first uses, smoke and oder may come from the appliance, but these are not harmful.
They do not affect the use of the appliance and disappear quickly.
At first use, small particules may come from the iron. These are part of the production
process and do not affect yourself or your garments. They disappear after few uses.
Use only the appliance on a clear surface to not block the product base ( horizontal or
vertical surfaces).
— What kind of water use?
Your iron has been designed to use tap water. However, the self-clean function must be
performed regularly on the steam chamber to remove limescale. If your water is very
hard, mix 50% tap water and 50% bottled demineralised water.
IMPORTANT
Never use water containing additives (starch, perfume, aromatic
substances, softeners, etc.), or condensation water (for example water from
tumble dryers, water from refrigerators, water from air conditioning units,
rainwater). This water contains organic waste materials or minerals that
concentrate under the effect of heat and cause spitting, brown colouring or
premature ageing of your appliance.

fer, mais elles ne sont pas nocives. Elles n'affectent pas l'utilisation de votre appareil et
disparaissent rapidement.

Elles font partie du processus de production et n'affectent ni vous ni vos tissus. Elles
disparaissent après quelques utilisations.
N'utilisez cet appareil que sur une surface dégagée pour ne pas obstruer la base de
l'appareil (surface plane et horizontale).
