Note The module is equipped with one line of 8 terminals, at the bottom, num-
bered from 1 (left) to 8 (right). The top line of terminals is not used, refer to Fig.
24.
The DF8045 input module provides 4 supervised inputs for normally closed con-
tacts. The module will provide the following information for each of the 4 inputs:
normal operation (contact closed), alarm (contact open) and tamper (cable short or
open).
Input line supervision is accomplished through the use of two resistors (4.7 KOhm
and 1.5 KOhm). Each input is connected to the module through 2 screw terminals
as shown in Fig. 22 below. Line resistance must be less than 500Ω.
