TO ADJUST THE MOTOR BELT TENSION

Correct Setting:
To check for proper belt tension, press the belt in the middle of the span lightly with your finger (approximately
300 grams-force). The belt should bend 7 to 9 mm.
To adjust:
1. Remove the belt cover (see page 2).
2. Loosen the 2 nuts A, then tighten them a little. Adjust the belt tension, then tighten the nuts securely.
3. Turn the handwheel for a few rotations and re-check the belt tension.
4. Attach the belt cover.
