    Quick reference 1 REL To release the detachable panel (theft protection). Press this knob and remove the release panel. 2 ON - Power up/down Press this button to turn the equipment on. It will play at the preset volume. If you press this button briefly during ra- dio reception, the volume will turn down instantly (MUTE).

    Fixing the release panel If you wish to fix the release panel perma- nently to the chassis, screw down the en- closed bolt at the left hand side of the chas- sis into the hole (C), see Fig. Selecting the audio mode Use the SRC/SC (source) button to select between radio and cassette mode.

    On FM, you can store six stations on the preset buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for each of the memory banks (1, 2, T). On MW/LW, you can also store six stations each (Dresden RCR 128 without MW, LW) .

    • Select the appropriate waveband by pressing BA/TS. • Tune in a station with the rocker switch (either automatically or manually << >>). • Press the desired preset button until the radio resumes play after the muting (takes approximately 2 seconds, con- firmed by a beep).

    Programme types Turn PTY on. Use << >> to have the last selected pro- gramme type displayed and to choose a new one. You can select any one of the stored types with the preset buttons 1-6. The following list indicates some of the pro- gramme types which are available.
