CAUTION: Be careful not to block the fan vent. Also be careful to keep
foreign objects out of the vent.

Use this port to connect an optional Tablet Multi Dock.
The computer is equipped with two expansion memory
slots (sockets). Use these slots (sockets) to install memory
module to increase your computer's memory. Refer to the
Memory expansion
section in Chapter 8, Optional Devices
for the detail.
The Battery Pack powers the computer when the AC
adaptor is not connected. The
Chapter 6, Power and Power-Up Modes, describes how to
access the Battery Pack. Battery Packs can be purchased
from your TOSHIBA dealer to extend the computer's
battery operating time.
The battery lock prevents inadvertent release of the Battery
Pack.
Releasing the battery lock and sliding the Battery release
latch to the outside of the computer enables to remove the
battery from the computer.
Reserve pen is contained in the battery pack of Underside.
Reserve pen enables data entry directly through display
screen. Refer to the
Using the Tablet PC
Chapter4, Operating Basics.
