  • Page 3 Preface This maintenance manual describes how to perform hardware service maintenance for the Toshiba Personal Computer Portege M200, referred to as Portege M200 in this manual. The procedures described in this manual are intended to help service technicians isolate faulty Field Replaceable Units (FRUs) and replace them in the field.

    Battery charging is controlled by a power supply microprocessor. The power supply microprocessor controls power supply and detects a full charge when the AC adapter and battery are connected to the computer.
