Darning plate
Use this skill when sewing from 3 to 12 layers of fabric, such as sewing over
welt seams when hemming jeans.
Sometimes
when
you sew, you want to control the fabric yourself.

Use Foot A (Zigzag foot) with the black spring button.
The Darning Plate covers the feed dogs so that they do not touch the fabric.
NOTE:
This black button locks the foot so it does not give with the fabric.
To Put on the Darning Plate:

Sew as usual.
NOTE:
The rectangular holes in the Darning Plate match the holes in the
