Switching the system to standby mode In any other source mode ● Press 2 (or POWER on the remote control). ➜ The clock will appear on the display when the system is in standby mode. Power-saving automatic standby As a power-saving feature, the system will automatically switch to Standby mode if you do not press any buttons within 15 minutes after a disc has stopped playing. -

Cleaning the disc lens ● After prolonged use, dirt or dust may accumulate at the disc lens. To ensure good playback quality, clean the disc lens with Philips CD Lens Cleaner or any commercially available cleaner. Follow the instructions supplied with cleaner. -

Troubleshooting The remote control does not function properly. The time is not working. The Clock/Timer setting is erased. ✔ Select the source (DISC or TUN, for example) before pressing the function button (É Å,í,ë). ✔ Reduce the distance between the remote control and the system.
