Shift Lock System Circuit Troubleshooting
1. C o n n e c t t h e H D S t o t h e D L C ( A ) l o c a t e d u n d e r t h e
d r i v e r ' s s i d e o f t h e d a s h b o a r d .
2. T u r n t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h t o O N (II). M a k e s u r e t h e
H D S c o m m u n i c a t e s w i t h t h e P C M . If it d o e s n o t , g o
t o t h e D L C c i r c u i t t r o u b l e s h o o t i n g ( s e e p a g e
1 1 - 2 9 0 ) .
3. S e l e c t S h i f t L o c k S o l e n o i d T e s t i n t h e
M i s c e l l a n e o u s T e s t M e n u , a n d c h e c k t h a t t h e s h i f t
l o c k s o l e n o i d o p e r a t e s w i t h t h e H D S .
