Selecting Beeper Volume using Trigger

The scanner emits a short beep when it successfully reads a bar
code. The volume of the beep can be changed either by scanning
the appropriate bar code from the LS 9208 Product Reference
Guide, or by utilizing the trigger as follows:
1. Press and hold the trigger for an extended period of time (ap-
proximately 5 seconds). The scanner cycles through three
settings (Low, Medium, High) emitting a 2-beep tone at each
setting.
2. To select a particular setting, release the trigger after the de-
sired 2-beep tone is heard.
Laser Sleep Mode (Default)
If the scanner remains inactive for an extended period of time, it
will enter "laser sleep mode" to conserve energy. This time period
is programmable. To wake up the scanner, simply present a bar
code to the scanner window.
Motor Sleep Mode
After the scanner is inactive for an extended period of time and
"motor sleep mode" is enabled, the laser and motor will enter
"sleep mode". To wake up the scanner, simply press the trigger on
the side of the scanner.
