A Perhaps the batteries do not make proper contact or have not been inserted in the proper way.
- Remove the lid of the battery compartment and push the batteries back into place. Make sure
that the - and + poles point in the right direction (Fig. 14).
B The batteries may be empty.
- Replace the batteries.
