CAUTION
Maintenance of the appliance must be carried out
when the machine is switched off and unplugged.
CLEANING THE TANK
The recovery tank (G) should be cleaned regularly by removing
the liquids or impurities picked up by the appliance. This can
be done by opening the catches (F) and lifting the top part
of the appliance.
NOTE
Build-up of foam in the recovery tank (G) can
jeopardise the correct functioning of the safety float.
If the tank is overfilled, this will cause the safety
float to close. In this case, the motor revs will increase
and the appliance will not perform any vacuuming.
Every time you clean the lower part of the appliance, remember
to clean the filter (13). Disengage and remove the filter and
wash it under running water. (Fig. 19).
CLEANING THE ACCESSORIES
Wash the accessories under running water.
CLEANING THE HOSE
Carry out the following cleaning procedure:
- Empty the recovery tank (G)
- Fit the nozzle (Fig.11) onto the hose.
- Fill a bucket with clean water. Disinfectants may be added
providing they do not produce foam
- Pick up 3 litres of water with the nozzle.
- Empty the recovery tank (G) and repeat the operation if
necessary.
