Software - Disk Management - Expand a Volume
Step 8:
1. To expand a volume you need several larger capacity hard
drives.
2. Replace all the disks of this volume with larger disks, one
at a time.
3. Once you have replaced each disk, it takes a while for the
volume to recover.
4. Once the disks of the volume is replaced, ShareCenter Pro
extends the volume capacity.
ONLY RAID 1, 5 and RAID 6 supports volume expansion.
Click the Expand button to see the following window.
Click Yes, to continue.
Follow the instruction in the State column to expand the
Volume.
