Press the lever to open the attachment and place a lower section
of the same lock of hair between the plates. Make sure there is an
overlap. Repeat this process until you have reached the end of the
lock.

Let the crimps cool down. Do not brush or comb the crimps, as
this wil ruin them.

Open the crimping/straightening attachment. Remove the plates
one by one by grabbing their cool tips and pulling them out of the
attachment (Fig. 11).

Turn the plates upside down and slide them back into the
attachment (Fig. 1).
Make sure that you insert the edges of the plates properly into the
grooves.

You have now turned the crimping attachment into a straightening
attachment. Connect the attachment to the handle and follow the
same procedure as for creating crimps.
Another method to straighten the hair is to slide the straightening
attachment slowly down the lock.

Let the sleek hair cool down before you comb or brush it.
If you have natural curls or waves, the straight result disappears if your
hair gets wet (for instance when you wash it).

Never immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under the tap.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

Place the styler on the support of the attachment in a safe place
and let it cool down.
