supplies again simultaneously.
It is not necessary to remove the bezel to turn the power switch
on. Do not operate the 8010co chassis with only one power
supply. For information about the power switch location, see
Figure 39 "DC power supply power switch" (page

Verify that the power output LED for each power supply lights
green.
Verify that the power supply status LEDs and the fan LED on the
8691 Switch Fabric/Central Processor Unit (SF/CPU) or 8692
SF/CPU modules light green.
Verify that air flows from the cooling fans out through the back
of the 8010co chassis.
The fan tray red fail LED can light briefly while the fans power to
operational speed.
After you turn on the switch, each module automatically initiates
a diagnostic test to verify proper module function.
If the power supply LED remains off or if you cannot feel air flow
from the 8010co chassis vents,on each power supply, turn the
power switch to the off position.
If you install the 8010co chassis and connect it to the optional
BIP, ensure the circuit breakers on the BIP are in the off position.
Wait 1 minute.
If you install the 8010co chassis and connect it to the optional
BIP, turn the circuit breakers on the BIP to the on position.
On each power supply, turn the power switch to the on position.
