Support for Pure mode for ATW (auto tracing

white balance)

Support added for Pure mode which, in comparison with the
existing mode (Natural), automatically adjusts the white
balance to obtain a result closer to primary colors without
residual bluish or reddish colors.

Pure: Adjusts balance that is closer to primary colors.
Slow & Quick Motion assignable switch
registration
The Slow & Quick Motion on/off setting in the setup menu can
now be switched using an assignable switch.
It can be registered in assignable switch 1, 3, 4, 5, or the ONLINE
button.

Loading of planning metadata from an SDXC
card
Planning metadata can now be loaded from SDXC cards using
an optional MEAD-SD02 Media Adaptor.

Technology has been improved.

Improvements to Flash Band Reduce function
Improvements have been made to the Flash Band Reduce
function.
Major Functions Updated in V3.00
High Dynamic Range (HDR) support
Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and S-Log3 is supported to enable
shooting with expanded dynamic range.
The two following types of HLG are available.

HLG_BT.2100: HLG curve based on ITU-R BT.2100(HLG)
ˎ

HLG_Live: HLG curve based on ITU-R BT.2100(HLG) that
delivers improved HDR performance (default setting)
When HDR is selected, the color space is expanded to ITU-R
BT.2020 equivalent.

Note
HDR settings are enabled when the file system is exFAT and the
recording format is 4K (QFHD) or HD.
HLG display assist function
When shooting in HDR using HLG, this function automatically
adjusts the image displayed in the viewfinder and LCD monitor
so that it is similar to an HDR compatible display.
You can turn the "HLG Display Assist" function on/off, as
required, by assigning the function to an assignable switch.
Note
This function is applied to the image in the viewfinder and LCD
monitor. It is not applied to the recorded image or output
image.
Enhanced noise suppression function
A [Super] option has been added that provides stronger noise
suppression than the [High] setting.
Also, a gain link mode has been added to link the level with the
gain setting.

Picture Cache Rec function support when
recording at 4K (QFHD)
The Picture Cache Rec function is supported when recording at
4K (QFHD).

0 to 8 seconds in XAVC-L QFHD (59.94P/50P)

0 to 12 seconds in XAVC-L QFHD (29.97P or lower)
Note
The Picture Cache Rec function cannot be used at the same
time with any other special recording function.
Slow & Quick Motion function support when
recording at 4K (QFHD)
The Slow & Quick Motion function is supported at 1 FPS to 60
FPS speeds when recording in XAVC-I QFHD or XAVC-L QFHD.
Note
The Slow & Quick Motion function cannot be used at the same
time with any other special recording function.
Improved focus magnifier function
Higher definition magnified view, compared with the existing
focus magnifier function, is supported when using an HDVF-
EL20/EL30 series viewfinder and the recording format is set to
4K (QFHD).
This function is used by assigning "Focus Magnifier" to an
assignable switch.
SDHC memory card (FAT) support
In addition to SDXC memory cards, SDHC memory cards are
now supported SD cards that can be used with the optional
MEAD-SD02 Media Adaptor.
