Engine Oil Level Check

The engine oil level should be checked
when the oil is warm (the engine oil
temperature indicator should show
80° C [176° F] min.) and with the vehi­
cle on level ground. After stopping the
engine, wait a few minutes (i.e. after a
fuel fill-up) and then check the level.
Wipe the dipstick clean before
checking.
Add oil, if needed, only to the
upper mark (max). Do not
overfill the engine.
