If someone becomes trapped, press a
#
preset position button or seat adjust‐
ment switch immediately.
& WARNING Risk of entrapment if the
memory function is activated by children
Children could become trapped if they acti‐
vate the memory function, particularly when
unattended.
Never leave children unattended in the
#
vehicle.
When leaving the vehicle, always take
#
the SmartKey with you and lock the
vehicle.
The memory function can be used when the igni‐
tion is switched off.
Storing
Seat adjustments for up to three people can be
stored and called up using the memory function.
The following systems can be selected:
Front seat
R
Outside mirrors
R
Head-up Display
R
Steering column
R
Seat contour
R
Set the front seat, the outside mirrors, the
#
Head-up Display, the steering column and
the seat contour to the desired position.
Seats and stowing 123
Press memory button M and then press pre‐
#
set position button 1, 2 or 3 within three sec‐
onds.
An acoustic signal sounds. The settings are
stored.
To call up: press and briefly hold preset posi‐
#
tion button 1, 2 or 3.
After releasing the button, the front seat,
outside mirrors, Head-up Display, steering
column, and seat contour are moved into the
stored position automatically.

Operating the rear seat via the memory func‐
tion in the rear passenger compartment
Storing
This function is available only for Mercedes-May‐
bach vehicles.
Seat adjustments for the rear seat can be stored
and called up using the rear seat memory func‐
tion.
