GENERAL

AUTOMATIC WASHER
DOMESTIC WARRANTY CERTIFICATE
This warranty is extended by Rank General Electric Major Appliances Pty.
Ltd. ("Rank General Electric Majors") of — 16-24 Cosgrove Road, Enfield.
N.S.W. 2136., to the purchaser of a Rank General Electric Majors product
against defects arising from faulty labour and/or material as set out hereunder
and is applicable to the mainland of Australia and Tasmania.
WHAT WE WILL DO:
General One Year Warranty:
Any defect appearing in your Rank General Electric Majors product within
one year from the date of purchase and caused by faulty labour and/or mate-
rial in manufacture will be repaired or replaced free of charge. This warranty
is given on the condition that all service on Rank General Electric Majors
products is performed by Rank Services and Distribution Pty. Ltd. ("Rank
Services") or by a service agent authorised to service Rank General Electric
Majors products. In the event that a Rank General Electric Majors product is
installed outside the normal servicing area of Rank Services branch or au-
thorised agent, the cost of sending the product to the agent or the agent's
travelling cost to your home shall be met by you.
LIMITATIONS:
This warranty applies to Rank General Electric Majors products which are
used for Household or Domestic purposes only. In respect of commercial use,
this warranty will apply only for a period of nienty (90) days from the date of
purchase.
This warranty does not cover failure due to accidental damage, misuse,
negligence or consequential damage.
WHAT YOU MUST DO TO CLAIM:
Advise your dealer or closest authorised Service Agent or Rank Services
within the appropriate warranty period. All repairs will be carried out by our
Service Division, Retailer or Authorised Service Agent.
