User interface of the VMG8825
Further configuration and user-specific customization can be done via the user
interface of the VMG8825. This can be reached by entering the address
in your Internet browser.
Device certificate and nameplate
All the predefined access data can be found on the nameplate on the rear panel
and the accompanying device certificate:
Access data to the user interface
Name of your wireless network (WLAN)
The password you must enter in the
device to connect to Wi-Fi

Special characters

To enter passwords in the user interface of your VMG8825, you can use the
characters A-z, the digits 0-9 and the following special characters:
! ? * @ # § $ % & ( ) _ + , - . : \ / < = >
All password input fields support the same character set.
Connecting devices to the wireless network

NOTE
The Wi-Fi feature of the VMG8825 must be enabled. Check the WLAN LED on
the front panel of your device to ensure that this is the case. It should be lit solid
green. If not, press the WLAN button of the VMG8825 briefly (for about 1 second).
The WLAN LED starts flashing green and lights solid after approx. 15 seconds.
In a wireless home network, the connection between devices is established via
radio signals. This requires the devices to be equipped with a wireless adapter
that supports the 802.11 ac/b/g/n standards.
